How would you describe the first steps back on land after swimming in the ocean? The hot sun lifting all but the sea salt from your skin while your mouth waters for warm corn tortillas stuffed with something fresh and spicy, ice cold beer, and margaritas?

We're bringing you Southern California surf culture and the food that rolls with it — food from Baja — like the crispy fried fish tacos we ate as kids after a dawn patrol session and a California Burrito with tater tots instead of rice and beans. Our corn tortillas are also authentically nixtamalized.
Summer Salt is the natural progeny of Cemitas El Tigre, in Queens, where people have flocked for cemitas, burritos, and their universally popular tacos since 2014. Cemitas' founder is a So-Cal-raised, food, fishing and Baja obsessive, ever on the hunt for better beach food. He has tried every taco, burrito, gordita, flauta, and salsa from coast to coast and San Clemente to Tijuana.

- HOW DO I GET MY CATERING ORDER STARTED? Go to www.summersaltnyc.com/catering, fill in all your information and we’ll get the ball rolling for you! After we receive the information, we’ll follow up with any questions to confirm the order.
- HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THE TACO BAR FEED? We include enough tortillas for 2-3 tacos per person with sides of rice, beans, chips and guac. We even include lettuce for those guests to want to create bowls.
- WHAT IS THE MINIMUM CATERING ORDER? Our minimum catering orders are 25 guests for delivery and 15 guests for pick up orders.
- I DON’T MEET THE MINIMUM ORDER. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST? Check out our website's online menu or delivery partners such as Doordash, Caviar, Postmates, Grubhub or Grubhub!
- WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY RADIUS? We deliver throughout the 5 boroughs!
- I’M OUTSIDE YOUR DELIVERY RADIUS. WHAT CAN I DO? Our delivery radius is pretty vast and we always do our best to make you happy! Just contact us with your needs and we’ll do whatever we can.
- WHAT ABOUT DELIVERY TIMES AND SET-UP? We pride ourselves on timeliness. We’ll give you a 30 minute delivery window so your food is hot and fresh.
- DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS? Our entire menu is gluten free except for the flour tortillas, churros, and fried fish! Please use your best judgement when ordering. We do our best to keep everything separate but there’s always a chance for cross-contamination.
- WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? We accomodate cancellations up to 24 hours before the delivery time. Any cancellations after that time incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
